WE NEED YOU

NO HUMAN SHOULD LIVE IN A SHACK

200 American Volunteers Needed for Building Blitz

“A man is not a man until he has a house of his own”
Nelson Mandela

This November we are bringing 2000 volunteers to Cape Town for our sixth annual one week Building Blitz on the 28th November – 6th December 2008. We need 200 amazing American volunteers to join us on a life changing journey to help house the deeply impoverished in South Africa.

We are calling on you to join us in our mission to house the homeless and eradicate shacks from our landscape.

With Niall Mellon leading the charge, flanked by our great supporter Nobel Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the NMTI team travelled to Washington DC to rally support for our housing projects in South Africa

The Niall Mellon Townships Initiative is now South Africa’s largest charity provider of low cost housing. The charity was established in Dublin, Ireland in 2002 and since then we have built a staggering 6,000 houses in Gauteng and the Western Cape provinces in South Africa. Through our work, the lives of more than 35,000 disadvantaged people have been changed for the better forever.

You can be part of this too.

We are aiming high this year. We want to build a total of 7,000 homes across South Africa in 2008.

If you would like to take part in the Challenge contact us via email: info@nmtownshipsinitiative.com or by telephone on : 1-212-453-5813.

If you can’t come, perhaps you know someone who would be interested.

Donations are always greatly appreciated, and every cent give goes straight to the charity.

Administration costs will not be taken from donations made.
